Eden Grove Opening

Barnsbury Housing Association are proud to announce that Holloway Councillor and Executive Member for Housing and Development, Diarmaid Ward, is set to officially open our brand new scheme at Eden Grove.

45 Eden Grove is the site of a former school caretaker’s house which BHA have owned for many years and are proud to have developed 4 new homes available at social rent in Islington. The scheme will consist of one 3-bed flat and three 2 -bed flats.

Barnsbury Housing Association has replaced the old two-bedroom 1950s caretaker’s lodge with four new family homes which all meet the GLA’s and Islington Council’s stringent standards for space and accessibility.

Barnsbury HA is the only non-specialist housing association still operating solely within Islington’s borough borders. It now owns 299 homes and is actively looking for more small sites locally to build more homes for social rent.
