Estate Walkabouts begins – Lofting Road, Pugin Court, Barnsbury Street.
On 21st July we started walkabouts starting with Lofting Road, Pugin Court and Barnsbury Street. The walkabouts involve walking around the estates and communal areas to identify issues.
During our walk we spoke to 6 residents about various matters related to their home/communal area, met a resident’s curious dog and visited a lovely resident garden.
You can read the notes/actions from the July walkabout here:
Walkabouts also give you the chance to talk to BHA directly and discuss issues about your estate or anything else to do with your home or tenancy.
It’s a good way to identify a wide range of issues such as:
- minor estate improvements,
- ASB or crime-related issues communal areas,
- incidents of fly-tipping.
Who can attend a walkabout?
Staff organise walkabouts and residents are encouraged to join. Any resident of BHA can join an estate walkabout.
We invite you to join us ahead of the walkabout in your area if you have anything you’d like to discuss.
