Access to information

New government rules called STAIRs say that social landlords must publish certain information and respond to information requests relating to how we deliver our social housing activities. From 1 October, social landlords must ensure that they have published information in line with the government requirements.

BHA values openness and transparency, and much of the information included under STAIRs is already on our website. On this page you will find our publication scheme, which sets out what we publish and where you can read it and our STAIRs policy

From 1 April 2027, BHA residents or their designated representatives will be able to make information requests for information that has not been published. The documents linked below provide more information about this part of the scheme.
